Dr. Michael Borman is an international entrepreneur, investor and the editor of Spain Expat Press. As founder and CEO of the corporate group bdp Bormann, Demant & Partner, he brings more than three decades of experience in corporate finance, strategic consulting, tax planning and international business development.
The bdp group has developed into an international consulting network with offices in several European countries as well as in China. With a team of specialists in law, taxation, finance and corporate consulting, the group has supported companies for many years in international investments, corporate financing and cross-border business projects.
A particular focus of his work lies in economic relations between Europe and Asia. Early on, he established a dedicated China Desk within the bdp group to support European companies investing or operating in China.
In addition to his international consulting activities, Dr. Borman is also involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures, including the hospitality sector. In Marbella he initiated projects such as the restaurant Candela and other gastronomic concepts on the Costa del Sol that bring together international guests and the local business community.
For his international entrepreneurial achievements, Dr. Borman was honoured in Marbella with the award “International Entrepreneur of the Year.”
With Spain Expat Press, he aims to develop an independent international media platform that presents Spain’s political, economic and social developments in a clear and informed way for a global audience.
